MikroTik's LHG60
Mikrotik's LHG60 has come to meet the demand for affordable, high-capacity links running at maximum throughput at distances of up to 1.5km and further if you are not too worried about getting that full gigabit link.

With the 5.8Ghz spectrum being so congested, 60GHz provides some much-needed relief for short distances PTP or PTMP links.

The LHG60 kit comes in a pair that is already pre-configured for easy deployment. The units also come with a handy link-alignment LED on the side to quickly and easily establish a link for your PtP connection. This feature along with the pre-configuration means even a Mikrotik novice can install these units with ease.

With 1Gbps full duplex throughput, these units are the ideal solution for companies that need to share big data with their outlying buildings. They are also very popular as a micro-pop solution for PtMP installations. With quad-core CPU and 256MB RAM, it copes beautifully with the speed increase offered by 60GHz. These advances are made possible by the latest Qualcom QCA6335 802.11ad wireless chipset.

The advantages of using 60GHz for short distance links are clear when you compare the speeds offered by other unlicenced bands. At this price, there is currently nothing that compares performance wise with these units. Obviously, we still recommend that you consider some form of redundancy, and would consider any of MikroTik's wide range of 5GHz alternatives.

Included in the packaging is a 24v PSU and mounting bracket. The unit can also be powered using 802.3af PoE.
